This service is for tree owners, or those responsible for managing trees, and is to help tree owners with tree hazard management and to comply with their Duty Of Care. Ideal for trees that are located near low, moderate or high risk areas like roads or recreation grounds car parks etc. Not just for schools and estates but also for home owners with only one tree.
A detailed on site assessment is carried out to identify risk level, disease and abnormality, and determine their significance as a potential hazard, and advisory action will conclude the report.
These inspections are affordable as they don't need lengthy reports, just the data gathered on site and a site plan. Let me know what you need and how many trees need assessing for a quote, and I can help you choose the right survey.
Occasionally home development projects or house building (domestic and commercial) may need a Tree Survey (BS 5837 Arboricultural Survey). This service provides a detailed inspection of a tree/trees physiological and structural condition, it's location and dimensions, and all of the information required to support your planning application and adhere to guidance from BS 5837 : 2012 Trees in Relation to Design, Demolition, and Construction.
Sometimes replacement trees may be part of planning conditions and will require a planting proposal to BS 8545 to discharge the conditions, I can provide and submit these proposals for approval for you, and now I can provide detailed landscape designs bespoke to local authority requirements for planning condition discharge.
Feasibility Report
Just thinking about developing or Landscaping near protected trees? Feasibility reports are very useful and are usually done before anything else. This will give you vital information about how a site can be laid out, often saving time and money at the planning and application stage.
This service provides an impartial assessment and advice for tree owners, or if you are looking at buying a house with trees on site or nearby. These reports are bespoke and tailored to what information the client requires.
You may only need to know the structural and physiological condition of a tree, status of Tree Preservation Orders and Conservation area information, advice about what to do or what you are likely to be permitted to do. All of these details can be included in these reports, which can also be used to support planning applications for works to trees under protection. I have 30 years experience working with Local Planning Authority and an in depth knowledge of BS 3998 and 5837
